Vinny is a former Army Ranger, Prison Guard and Border Patrol Agent. He has since moved on to become the founder of Beteran and actor on the popular TV show Mayan MC. Vinny has amassed a huge following because of his relatable content and giving it to people straight. He has a podcast titled the Vinny Roc Show and an author of two books.
In this episode Vinny talks about how his years as a baseball player led to him serving our country in multiple capacities. How he struggled through transitions and dealing with the loss of many of his friends. He is raw and unfiltered in this episode and has no problem telling everyone were he messed up.
We also talked about how our time in uniform doesn’t stop. We must continue to serve even after we hang up the uniform. We can’t become “those” veterans that just propagate the entitled mentality. This episode moves fast and covers a lot, so buckle your seatbelt. You’re about to get the Vinny Roc treatment!
