I used to live my life "conforming" to what I though others expected of me. Everyone thought I was an amazing guy, but I myself was totally miserable.

Why? Because I was not being true to myself. In trying to please others I was neglecting myself. The day I learned not to conform my will to the will of everyone else was the day I was released from my a prison of my own construction.

The change was difficult, and meant losing certain people that were only in my life to take advantage of me. The great news is, that by doing so, space was created in my life for new people who aligned with my desires to enter.
