Back when I was locked up in prison, we had a saying......

"Don't talk about it, be about it." 

This means, talk less, and do more. 

So many people in this world are always hinting at 'Big things coming...." on social media, in person, or in their minds as if they're creating this build up for something great to come afterwards. 

They do a great job of building the excitment of what's coming, but then never deliver on the back end. 

And it's because they don't do the work. 

When this happens, people stop listening to you. 

They stop engaging and supporting you. 

Soon, your boiserous and hopeful bravado falls on deaf ears. 

No one cares. 

Here's the lesson............

Be about it before you talk about it. 

Do the work first. 

It might take you 10 years before you talk about what you do. 

There will be long, grueling hours, days, nights, weekends, holidays, weeks, months, and years before you even announce what you've built. 

In today's modern age, people jump up first, make an announcement, and then do the work. 

They struggle to gain traction. 

Put systems and processes in place. 

Build out teams to help handle the sales, customer service, fulfillment, and then they get frustrated  and wonder why they don't succeed. 

If you want to succeed, do the work first. 

Then present it to the world. 

Don't talk about it, BE ABOUT IT.
