What I find most saddening is how many millions of people have exchanged sound Biblical doctrine for false prophecies. Today, another president sits in office and it is not the one that was prophesied by false prophets that would be re-elected. For the last four years big celebrity, hyper-charismatic celebrity-like men and women told vast multitudes that they had direct words from Jesus Christ. They boasted great boasts and declared great declarations. All of which none of them came to pass. Not even one.  

There were other smaller men and women videoing themselves giving out false prophecies from dreams they were having, or words they isolated in the Bible, or said they were hearing in their ear. Again, all of which did not come to pass but failed completely. I do not say this to be divisive, but to make a strong and solid point of why we are always exhorted and admonished to cleave to the solid rock, who is Jesus Christ.  I do believe on a side note that there are many faithful, beautiful men and women of all ages who do dream, get a word of knowledge, or word of wisdom that is real, and do come to pass. I have lived long enough to observe and experience it.  

God says of Himself, "For I am the Lord God; I change not, therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." Today millions have been consumed with every wind of doctrine and every prophecy that amounted to nothing. Yet still they will not lovingly and quietly read His word, and mediate on the purity of the word of God. God is allowing everything to happen for a good reason and we have to trust Him.   He changes not, and if you cleave to Him, then everything around you that is changing will not move you, nor consume you. Time to turn off the voices of these false prophets that are now made manifest who they are. And cleave to the unchangeable God Jesus Christ. "A thousand will fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand but it will not come near you."  Keep in the paths of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgement. It is the ONLY sure path that leads to your eternal home.
