Joshua 1:6-9
1. Effective leaders Know other effective leaders.
Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.
Joshua 1:7
The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

How do we effectively use our talents?
1. Get to know your gifts, and use them.
2. Memorize scripture “not just idle words but life.” (Favorite 100)
3. Prioritize your relationship with Jesus.
4. Take risks that require faith.
5. Pray for faith
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
