The 5th chapter of Esther gives us an incredible contrast between 2 very different attitudes with which we can approach the throne of our King, and as Paul points out, it is the difference between tunnel vision which leads to idolatry and funnel vision which leads to humility. Ultimately, like Esther, we can approach the throne with confidence because Jesus alone made a way to the throne.
