Perhaps no chapter in the Bible presents the two opposing themes of God's sovereignty and man's pride quite like Esther 6. On the one hand, God sovereignly moves through events like insomnia and late-night reading; on the other hand, Haman stubbornly refuses to bow to the power of God and reveals that so often our greatest mistakes come from fighting the God who always succeeds. It's time to be brave and stop fighting God.
