After the great revival at Mizpah, the Israelites began asking, and even demanding God for things that showed they missed the biggest blessing of all-- God himself!

Interestingly, God still answered their "off-base" request. And even after he warned them that it would not be best for them, he allowed them to experience what they asked for, and the people got way more than they bargained for.
