Greg and Jim discuss chaos, poor planning, and outright negligence in the Biden Administration’s sudden decision to pull out of Afghanistan by August 31st; drawing a distinction between the policy itself (yes, the US needs to get out of Afghanistan) and the poor execution of the policy (for example, why give up Bagram airbase before the evacuations of US citizens and allies even began).     The chaotic and incompetent withdrawal from Afghanistan is a huge blow to American prestige abroad, and gives comfort to bad actors across the globe.  The world is a more dangerous place today than it was four weeks ago.
