Jessica tells us about growing up in the Chicago suburbs, being the youngest of 4 kids, discovering performing and acting, and moving to Los Angeles at 18 to studying communications at Santa Monica College. We hear about how Jessica got her first writing gig after responding to a craigslist ad, which led to her freelance reporting for 5 years with US Weekly, until she finally asked if she could come on full-time. We hear about how she scored a job with Elite Daily and then while pregnant with her first child got the gig with Entertainment Tonight. Jessica shares she had trouble deciding whether to go back to work full time or stay home with her new baby, and gives advice for other women who want to have be career women AND have a family.
