Stefan Laursen was born and raised in Aarhus, Denmark. Attended the Waldorf School and later graduated from Stanford and Aarhus University. Was the runner up for the US Pro Triathlon championships and a member of the Danish Olympic Triathlon Team. Moved to the US in the late 90s and founded the sports brand Synergy. He is currently developing a pioneering building system for his new company F2R.com

Leslie has been involved in, studying and practicing sustainability and zero waste for over fifteen years. In addition to founding Sustain LA, she completed UCLA Extension’s Global Sustainability and Food Studies programs, holds an AA in Environmental Studies from Santa Monica College and is a Certified Sustainable Recycling and Resource Management Professional with the California Resource Recovery Association. Leslie and her family have called Los Angeles their home for over twenty years. This week we are getting curious about one of the biggest arts and music festivals in the world.

The Burning Man festival takes place in Nevada desert and is as a place where festival goers leave no trace. They must be completely self reliant and take everything they need with them for the week.

The Green Corridor is a section of, what is know as Black Rock city, that has been set up with camps practicing sustainable ways to survive the week in the desert with less waste, solar powered electricity and water filtration systems.
