Nicole reflects on how in order to eradicate sin, we must go to the source (the tree). Unlike the tree of life in which we have an abiding relationship with the Father and bear good fruit, the tree of knowledge and evil is based on our ideas of self-sufficiency. We wage a daily internal battle between the desires of the 'flesh' and the 'Spirit' and if we are not careful, we will allow footholds (the small reactions to hurts) morph into strongholds. Let us look deeper at our own wounds and shine light on the patterns we find ourselves trapped in.
