Nicole reflects on the redemptive nature of suffering and reflects on the rejection and abandonment experienced by Jesus in His passion. She is reminded that Jesus knew all too well the depth of human suffering  and he too cried out to the Father "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Perhaps you have also felt this way, alone in your suffering. May you be reminded that He understands and sees the depth of your pain and desires to heal you. May our suffering be an instrument of redemption too.
