Today's guest is Retired U.S. Army First Sergeant and one of the most prolific volleyball coaches I've ever worked with, John Senchak.
He entered into the U.S. Army at age 17 and spent the next 22 years focused on serving his country while "servant" leading his battalion. From a military perspective, he has seen more than he can officially share or even would want to share. After nearly losing his life and limbs on numerous occasions, John has decided to ignore "past if's" and live today fully present, without regard to regrets.
At a young age, he vowed to never finish anything but first. He continues to accomplish his mission by earning the respect from his teams ranging from special operational experts to high school volleyball players. John has taken his military training and incorporated it into an extremely successful coaching career, with numerous State Championships and Coach of the Year accolades. I continue to learn from this gentleman everyday and believe you will also as a result of today's interview.
