Jesus gave a parable about a Pharisee and a publican who go to the temple to pray. The Pharisee thanks God that he is so righteous while the publican won’t even lift up his eyes to heaven while he smites upon his breast and prays, “God be merciful to me a sinner”⁠. This episode is for those who struggle with sin or addiction who might be losing hope. The message is to keep choosing Jesus and never, never, never give up on your faith in Him!
