Orthodoxy (truth) is of the utmost importance in the Christian life. But orthodoxy that is not tempered by the love of God is of no value. Today's text teaches us that Christians are to be of the same heart toward one another; that is, having the same attitudes, same desires, same aspirations. And the chief attitude is humility and a desire to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
