Are You Open to Ideas?

A big need I hear employees crying out for, yet hear leaders backing away from, is training. I’m not referring to the training you send them to. That is very needed and it’s an excellent practice to have.

I’m referring to the training you do with your individual team members one-on-one. WHAT?! You say you don’t train?! THAT has got to stop!

Training is an essential component of the leader’s toolbox, and thinking you are too busy is a lame excuse. You are a leader. You are supposed to be busy.
