1 JOHN 2:6

“Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.”

MATTHEW 9:36-38

“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

5 Keys to Being Radical Like Jesus:

“When he saw the crowds…”

LUKE 19:41 - he saw the city of Jerusalem and wept over it.

JOHN 9:1 - he saw a man blind from birth and healed him.

JOHN 11:33 - he saw the grieving mourners and wept with them.

JOHN 6:5 - he saw the hungry crowds and fed them.

JOHN 5:6 - he saw the paralyzed man and raised him up.

2.      Feel what Jesus felt.

MATTHEW 9:36

“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them…”

3.      Imagine what Jesus imagined.

MATTHEW 9:36

“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”

4.     Pray like Jesus prayed.

MATTHEW 9:37-38

“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

5.      Do what Jesus did.

MATTHEW 9:35

“Jesus went through all the towns and villages; teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.”
