Has every generation thought that I was the last generation? How do we know that “the time is short”? During a recent radio appearance, I advised the listeners that it was time to get right with God and Jesus. I was not being glib.
7“And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is the one who [e]keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” Rev 22:7
12“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to reward each one as his work [h]deserves. 13I am the Alphaand the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
14Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they will have the right to the tree of life, and may enter the city by the gates. 15Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral persons, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyonewho loves and practices lying.
16“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you of these things [i]for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” Rev 22:12-16
It is not for man to predict the final hour of the final day, it is for man to be prepared at all times.
“So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Then if you are not alert, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.” Rev 3:3
Warrior’s Prayer
Lord, I come before you seeking the strength and skill to overcome my enemies. Grant me I pray, the wisdom to recognize evil, the courage to confront it, and the strength to destroy it. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
