She got her start as an accounting clerk without a university degree and worked her way up the professional ladder. She earned a bachelor's degree in business management. She started off annotating microfiche, writing checks to salespeople and became an accountant, division order title analyst, production accountant and analyst going out to the oil field, and this is what she loved.
