As Christians we are reconciled unto our God and Father through Jesus [Yeshua] Christ. It is here we find in this section the reconciling that needed to happen. God had fulfilled his judgment and the 70 years were ended. Cyrus had conquered Babylon and now Judah was reconciled. They were in the covenant of Sinai and the New covenant through the Messiah had not been fulfilled yet.

Reconciled unto God, Judah had hope. In this section we find a song, as in a Psalm which is in this section. Lines of hope, restoration, and it finds a nation finally finding freedom from their sins which brought destruction of the nation and of Jerusalem. It was all gone now, the old life. Now the new one was to begin and with it rebuilding a life and learning anew. For many descendants were not fully taught in keeping the law. Many challenges lay ahead but bondage to Babylon was not one of them.
