So many of us have bought into the idea that we’ll start serving when life slows down—when the kids are older, the house is cleaner, or our schedules feel lighter. But what if that “right time” never actually comes?

In today’s episode, we’re talking about what happens when the body of Christ (I am looking at you young mamas) becomes full of consumers instead of contributors—and how God is calling us to pour out what He’s already poured in.

In this episode, I’m sharing something Jonathan and I recently did that we’re calling a ‘spiritual audit.’ Basically, we hit pause to look at our schedule, pray, and ask the Lord what really needs to stay in this season.

I talk about my own journey with BSF, what it looks like to find grace for the season you’re in, and how fasting and prayer gave me so much clarity. I also share about this idea of saying my best yes—being all-in when I commit, instead of halfway in and stretched too thin. And honestly, the Lord used Proverbs 13:4 to show me where I had slipped into laziness instead of diligence.

My hope is that this conversation encourages you to take a look at your own commitments and ask, ‘Where is God’s grace covering me right now?

In this episode of Be Right There, part of my Slow Girl Summer series, we’re slowing down to talk about movement—but not the kind that leaves you exhausted or overwhelmed. This conversation is all about gentle, life-giving movement for your body and your spirit.

As young moms, we often feel like we either need to do an intense workout or do nothing at all. But there’s a middle way. I’ll walk you through simple, realistic ways to move your body that fit naturally into mom life—like going for a short walk, playing with your kids, or doing a free YouTube workout (I share my favorite channel!). I’ll also tell a little story about how trying a Pilates class with a friend gave me more than just sore muscles—it gave me life.

Then we’ll shift gears and talk about spiritual movement—what it looks like to move toward others through serving. You don’t need a microphone or a ministry title to make an impact. Whether you’re opening your home for a small group, holding babies in the nursery, or showing up for the next generation in youth or college ministry (my personal favorite!), your yes matters deeply.
