This is a sermon for the 5th Sunday after Pentecost, July 10, 2022, offered at the Episcopal Church of the Messiah in Heflin, Alabama.

Principal text: Colossians 1:1-14

The letter to the Colossians begins with thanksgiving and prayers for the continued fruitfulness of the community in the midst of swirling beliefs and philosophies. The Colossians are called to endure and be faithful knowing that through Christ they are already in the Kingdom of God and are redeemed.
