I had the honor of sitting down with Erica Allen, the host of The Golden Child Podcast and the founder of Redeeming Legacy Counseling, and her story is one that will stay with you long after the episode ends.

Erica went from dreaming of becoming a movie director in high school to becoming a counselor, podcaster, and coach who helps people overcome trauma, protect their peace, and live with intention. She is a fierce advocate for mental health, a woman who wears her heart on her sleeve, and someone who truly embodies the hands and feet of Jesus. Through her work, she helps people find their voice, break free from cycles of pain, and step into the truth that they do have purpose.

“Be selfish with your mental health. Don’t stay trapped. Protect your peace.”
It’s simple, powerful, and exactly what so many people need to hear.
