Did you know that about 68% of Americans use the same password across accounts? Let's be real you're probably one of them. Rich Delaney of Delaney Computer Services (DCS) is here to tell you why that is DEFINITELY not a good idea.

Segment 1
Rich tells us how his business started. Sitting at his kitchen table in the 1990s building computers from scratch and selling them to local businesses to make more money to build more computers! We learn what a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is and the types of businesses DCS generally work with. We also get a visit from Rich's dog Cooper, the actual CEO of the business!

Today in New Jersey History: Franklin Murphy was born in Jersey City on January 3, 1846. He enlisted in the Union Army during the Civil War at only 16, founded the Murphy Varnish Company in Newark, and served as NJ's 31st Governor from 1902 to 1905.

Segment 2
Rich discusses the challenges that face his business, particularly staffing issues and supply chain issues. People being able to work remote or work for large technology companies put a strain on the available labor force available to companies like DCS. Supply chain issues are also a significant issue for DCS and its clients. Upgrading computers, servers, people working remote and having different needs require Rich and his team to stay flexible, creative, and proactive to ensure their clients have the highest quality products, services, and, most of all, security.

New Jersey Fun Fact: New Jersey has the most shopping malls in one area in the world, with 7 malls in a 25 square mile radius.

Segment 3
Rich describes the prevalence of cyber crimes with the increased need for technology to be more pervasive in our lives. Rich and his team have had to become extraordinarily vigilant over the last four or five years with respect to cyber security. We also discuss why it is so important to use different passwords across all of your platforms.
