How the Force, Infinite Intelligence, and Faith Create Real-Life Miracles

Today is May the 4th—and if you’re a Star Wars fan like me, you know exactly what that means: May the Force be with you.

But what if the Force isn’t just a sci-fi fantasy? What if it’s real—and available to each of us, every day?

I’ve been a Star Wars fan since the original film hit theaters in the 1970s. I still remember sitting with a friend, listening to the radio, when a contest came on. The prize? Tickets to the premiere. I had to answer a trivia question—and after battling through a series of busy signals (remember those days?), I finally got through. I don’t recall the question, but I do remember shouting “Chewbacca!” and winning.

That moment launched a lifelong connection to the deeper message of Star Wars—the idea of the Force. And over the years, I’ve come to understand the Force not just as a movie concept, but as a real, powerful presence in our lives.

The Real-World Force: It's Always With You

In The Science of Getting Rich, Wallace Wattles speaks of a “formless substance” that responds to our thoughts, feelings, and intentions. Napoleon Hill called it Infinite Intelligence. Some call it Spirit, Source, or God. I like to think of it as the Force.

The Force is always present. Always listening. Always responding.

The key to creating a fulfilling life is becoming aware of what we’re impressing upon that Force—because it reflects back to us what we put into it. If we focus on fear, anger, or doubt, we get more of the same. But when we choose to align with love, trust, and possibility? That’s when miracles happen.

One of My Real-Life Jedi Moments

Several years ago, I was selling a property and had a trip to Jamaica planned. We listed the property on Monday, had a cash buyer by Tuesday, and needed to close by Friday. The challenge? It was a short sale, requiring rapid approvals from lenders.

Then, on Thursday, we discovered title issues that had to be resolved immediately. One person even told me, “You’ll never get this done by tomorrow.”

I remember pausing and saying: “Don’t speak that into my life.”

Instead of spiraling into fear, I did what I’ve trained myself to do—I paused. I connected to Spirit. I surrendered. I asked the Force for guidance and said, “However this is supposed to work out, I trust.”

Moments later, I got the call: the title issues were resolved. We closed on Friday morning. I received the funds, boarded my flight, and flew to Jamaica in peace and celebration.

Trust the Force Within

May the 4th is a fun holiday, but its reminder is powerful: the Force is real, and it’s always with you. The more you pause, align, and project love and trust into the world, the more the Force works in your favor.
