Be Vulnerable, Be Conscious, Be Aware, and Love Yourself First - An Interview with Neal Conlon

Listen Later

One of the biggest misconceptions we’ve been led to believe as men is that vulnerability is a weakness. Toxic masculinity has promoted so many harmful ideals surrounding how men ‘should’ act and it’s only ever been a detriment to our wellbeing and overall perception of ourselves. So, it’s time we shifted the conversation.

Joining me today is a serial voice of truth within entrepreneurship circles, Neal Conlon. Neal has been in the business of personal and professional growth for over fifteen years and has successfully helped build, scale, and move companies forward through intense coaching, mentorship, and enhanced marketing strategies. He also served in the military for five years and has done an amazing job of utilizing the mindset he developed there, for his professional endeavors.

In this episode, we discuss the work Neal has done within men’s circles, why fostering emotional intelligence has been so crucial for him, and why deciding to surrender and be open to vulnerability was such an impactful lesson to learn.
