Our guest today Marc Dass has been in the integrated marketing space for 12 years and has worked and lived in Singapore & Thailand.
He runs “Intheloop” a digital marketing agency based in Singapore helping SMB's accelerate their business online through digital marketing and creative strategy.
He also created Singapore’s iconic wellness festival SOULSCAPE, grown a community of 12,000 people and co-founded a yoga retail brand and sold the business in 2018.
In this episode he talks to us about ever changing technology, he says technology aspect is always going to be there but how you approach it matters. For young entrepreneurs and small business owners not being afraid of technology just trying what works for your business and using it is important when it comes to new software's or marketing platforms.
He beautifully narrated it as "dont forget the human aspect, beautiful tech can help you but there is always a person pushing the button behind it".
Business is a marathon you want it to be nice, long and enjoyable. In this race know that your mind and intelligence either work against you or they work for you. So think wisely if its important and worthwhile to invest 10-15 minutes in your daily routine to train your mind to build that mental capacity/resilience and if it is, then do something about it to build that mental stability.
Also dont forget that no matter what you are selling a product or services you are selling it to human being, so dont forget to connect to your audience and build a community to serve your clients better. It will help you in the long run to stay in the game of business.
