Michael has been a serial entrepreneur for his entire life, but in 2017 everything changed the day he found out he had cancer. After 18 months of battling, and 4 failed chemotherapies, Mike was able to go into remission. During that time, Mike was able to inspire others, coach fellow fighters, and start a company based around his story. His company, BEAM: Be Amazing (@youcanbeam) has been able to donate over $400,000 and that number grows every single day.

In 2011, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, out of the blue. I did not have any prior health concerns or issues. Fast forward, the dreaded cancer diagnosis opened my eyes, introduced me to my purpose, and lead me to where I am today.
As a Cancer Doula, I use my 11 years of experience with cancer to support and guide others diagnosed with cancer. Many people are not familiar with what a cancer doula is.
