My guest today, Bear Handlon, is one of those people. Bear is the founder and CEO of Born Primitive apparel, former military, Crossfit Games athlete, and family man.

Bear started Born Primitive to fill a need, and he did so in what we both affectionately called the Hayday of the Crossfit Games. Years later, he saw another need to fill and enlisted the help of Aron Snyder to create Born Primitive Outdoors, a brand of mountain and outdoor layering systems.

In this conversation, Bear and I dive into the Outdoors line and what makes it different than what is currently on the market, the ups and downs of running a business, and he also shares some really insightful productivity practices that keep his company and himself operating at a high level.
