The Grand Healer of Salzspitze, Daedalus attempted to heal the heart  of the Fungal Lich but only resulted in destroying it, remarking that it  was probably for the best due to the nature behind the entity. With  alternative options in hand, the party have made their way out of  Salzspitze to pick up some "land tortoises" to aid them in their travels  across the continent of Esselvyre.
