In Episode 20, Chicago based Actor and Writer Dylan Cruz, joins us in studio as our first in person guest!

Dylan brings the studio some life after a crazy time in quarantine. Dylan shares his story about contracting COVID-19 and how he recovered from the virus physically and mentally.

Dylan gives us a back story of growing up in church and what that journey has been in like in the pursuit of acting full time in the city of Chicago. He talks about the ups and downs of the industry and what kind of toll it takes on someone looking for their big break.

He lets us in to his struggles with rejection and how he is overcoming them everyday because in his line of work rejection is a constant but Dylan is loud and clear about how God and his faith are greater than any circumstances or hurdles. Dylan gives us insight into the process of auditions and being called in but to learn that you can't be hard on yourself because most of the time it isn't what you did wrong it 's just about finding your lane and where you are called to fit.

This is a beautiful story that doesn't need a happy ending because in Dylans journey he is always finding joy through the ups and downs on the road to beating rejection.
