When we take into account the whole of Scripture, evidence points to God’s plan for the

church to be a community of men and women where we share equally in the giftings of

the Holy Spirit, the image of God, and the mission of the church.

It’s a complex issue, but the preponderance of evidence in Scripture backs up this

assertion. We see this clearly in New Testament writings, including

those of Paul, who affirms public ministry for women.
