From the Costa Chica of Guerrero,we hear a beautiful bolero from sisters Las Hermanas Garcia, “Desesperanza.” Lila introduces us to her collaborators from Michoacán, El Trompo Trio, with “El Encerrón.” And Isaac Montijo, an indigenous artist from Sonora, brings us a cumbia-ska in “Rokerita.”
