(Part of "On the Road Episode" Mini-Series)
In this episode, I bring international coach and mentor, Jenn Urso to the sanctuary for storytelling and illuminating exchange! In Jenn's own words, "I used to have a complicated relationship with joy. I thought it was something I was supposed to feel or experience outside of Monday-Friday, 9-5. Until I knew that wasn't the life for me. So I packed up, resigned, had my own version of Eat Pray Love (except mine included ayahuasca, walking 500 miles and some boundary-pushing retreats in India). On the other side of that, I had a new mission: to help professionals move their work lives from bearable to beautiful. To help them integrate their career and life aspirations, so they co-exist vs competing for space and time, and create work lives that feel more nourishing while supporting their career climb. To help knowledge workers experience more joy, even inside their 9-5. Professionals love to work; it's in our DNA. And...we can become imbalanced and have leaky boundaries, allowing our work to manage us rather than managing it. The result is a drained, disillusioned, restless professional in pain, trying to find the way back to more balance, control and time for living."
