[SmallTalk23]: Think about the day you got your first car. You probably kept it clean and smelling good. As time passed, the new car became old and consequently, contempt and disregard set in. This is something that can easily happen in our relationship with God. Especially, if you’ve been walking with him awhile, disregard can set in and it can become easy to forget to behold the beauty of our Lord. We forget to reverence Him and stand in awe of who He is.
