We've been programmed to believe that evil is ugly. From science fiction (Star Wars Sith, anyone?) to the caricatures of the devil on popular movies (horns and red skin? Really?) we've been shown evil as this ugly and monstrous thing that is easily spotted and easily avoided. The truth is far more insidious. In other news... I've put almost 300 miles on my bike since I got it just practicing in the parking lot(s). I've gone from generally nervous and iffy on it to just shy of being able to do the motor officer course (getting there). Practice, practice, practice. We'll talk about that and more tonight.
