This Podcast: Best Buys on a Budget
"Thank you Sweet Baby Jesus for another BEAUTIFUL day @BowsTexas. Here to coach and consult you being RAW. REAL. UPBEAT & STRAIGHTFORWARD. The goal is to guide you to be an authentic beautiful version of yourself with an organized routine, living well, and sharing resources to study so you can be focused and productive!”
First things first, if you do NOT have a current budget for your personal or professional life, do so for your own sanity and freedom.
Next, it's important to learn to stick to a budget, although, you have the freedom to update it as you see fit.
Went through a long struggle of saving paying off a huge debt to the IRS after going bankrupt doing business as partner for an oil field business that crashed.
It's so important to position yourself in a good financial way throughout life. In Other words, don't spend what you don't have, learn to live simply and within your means. This doesn't have to be miserable, it just requires a written plan.
You decide, stick with it and BE FREE!
Alright so let's talk BEAUTY buy when you're ballin' on a budget.
Bring the spa home with the basics and don't go broke!
Product ingredients matter to me and so finding these items was important when paying off debt.
1.) Trader Joe's Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner
2.) Trader Joe's Body Cream
3.) Trader Joe's Bar soaps and an exfoliating cloth
4.) Dr. Bronner's (use for everything: laundry, wash dog, hand and face, clean floors, counters, and your hair if necessary... it's concentrated so prep as directed.)
5.) Elf cosmetics
6.) Eco Tools makeup brushes
Now if you are able to spend some money here are some additional product recommendations:
1.) Professional shampoo and conditioner: Aveda and Paul Mitchell
2.) Brazilian Blowout Smoothing serum and dry oil
3.) Exfoliating and Hydrating Bar soaps from Aveda
4.) Skin Ceuticals face wash and skin care products
5.) Jane Iredale cosmetics
6.) Love Home and Planet or Love Beauty and Planet products
Groceries ballin' on a tight budget
1.) EGGS get creative with omlettes (protein)
2.) Premier Protein Powder (Chocolate)
3.) Ramen
4.) Carrots (vitamins)
5.) Greens spinach or kale (vitamins)
6.) Dressing (fat)
7.) Ground Turkey meat
8.) Lemons
Additional favorites to add in as budget increased:
1.) Oatmega Protein Bars
2.) One daily vitamin central market brand
3.) Trader Joe's wine (just sayin')
Still purchase some of these things to this day, because they get the job done, but it sure is awesome to splurge every now and then!
The point is, there are many generic brands that are available to get the job done while you progress to the next level. Don't try to keep up with the Jones's or go broke to be Beautiful.
There's BEAUTY in YOU. BE WHO YOU ARE, BEAUTIFUL.
