She has worked as a makeup artist since 2004 and opened her makeup agency in 2011.

● When we assume that our way is the only way of approaching something, we run into issues.
● Problem happens when everybody thinks that we’re all watching the same thing. And what we don’t realize is that one girl’s drag makeup is another girl’s natural makeup.
● It goes a long way to understanding that there isn’t a necessary standard of beauty.
● When it comes to looking at hair and makeup every day, you need to be willing to communicate in layman’s terms and not just make assumptions that this is the one way for us to look.
● Just because some people use brown in their makeup, it doesn’t become natural.
● One of the gifts that we can all give ourselves as women is recognizing that there’s no one right way to do beauty.
