Just because we had a great time sexually and the vibe was high, I’m now sober and realize it was just a one time thing! How do I severe ties with someone who I don’t see in my future plans without being disrespectful and rude? 

1. It was just great sex but what’s next ?

• Don’t let lustful actions make you bite off more than you can chew
• Great sex doesn’t equate to being a great partner

  2. Being upfront about your true intentions!

• NSA, FWB, or just Dates be honest with yourself and the person of interest that will save a lot of trouble and headaches 
• Don’t exchange information or plan to meet until you’re sure 

  3. Being completely honest about where things stand with you and potential dating partner!

• Be realistic about your wish list and don’t settle
• If you lower your expectations blame yourself
