Episode 43—Become a Woman of Your Word
Have you ever wondered how your children interpret your words? Can they truly trust you mean what you say? Let’s dig into the Word and see what God says about the importance of becoming a woman of your word. Today’s Bible encouragement reveals our lives should reflect the promise-keeping nature of God.
About your Host—Annie Yorty
Wife, mother, writer, and speaker, Annie encourages those living through difficult situations to perceive God. Embracing the task of advocacy after the birth of her first child, who has Down syndrome, Annie has led both disability and homeschool organizations for over thirty years to promote understanding and acceptance for individuals with intellectual disabilities. In particular, she loves to connect with other ordinary moms of extraordinary kids.Annie and her high school sweetheart/Air Force veteran husband, Jeff, have two grown children and one still in process. (Isn’t everyone, really?) Despite significant challenges, her favorite global mission destination is Siberia in February, but she’ll go anywhere God opens the door. She delights in anything crafty or creative except sewing, which she merely tolerates. Annie wishes she had more time to read, learn the piano, crochet, and practice Russian. Her furry beast (aka labradoodle) would like her to spend more time teaching him new tricks.
