Dedicated to healthcare since 1990, Dr. Chase has a Master of Exercise Science (MA’90) from the University of Denver; a Doctorate of Nursing (ND‘96) from University of Colorado-School of Nursing, and a Masters in Spiritual Psychology: Consciousness, Health and Healing (MA’04) from the University of Santa Monica. Dr. Chase has worked for Craig Hospital in Englewood, CO (1996-2014) as Patient & Family Education Coordinator, Admission Liaison, and in various research programs. She is recently retired as Associate Professor, BSN Nursing-Mental Health, at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, CO. She is a professional speaker, author, and coach living fully with spinal cord injury for 32 years and is active in kayaking, cross-country skiing, hand-cycling, and whenever possible, riding horses.
