Say, "Shall I tell you of something better than all of these? For 
the God-fearing, there are Gardens in nearness to their God 
with rivers flowing through them where they shall live forever 
with pure spouses and the goodwill of God. God is watching His servants â

those who say, "Lord, we believe in You, forgive us our sins and keep us from the punishment of the Fire," 

those who are steadfast, truthful, obedient, and those who 
spend [for God's cause] and who pray before dawn for 
forgiveness."

Becoming a Person of Jannah

Sheikh Aarij Anwer is a specialist in Zakat, Arabic and linguistic tafsir. Born in Karachi and raised in Toronto, he serves as the Muslim Chaplain at Western University. He is also a Zakat consultant with National Zakat Foundation and Zakat manager at LaunchGood.

In the past, he’s served as imam and educator at London Muslim Mosque and Masjid Khalid Bin Al-Walid. He authored a K-8 Arabic curriculum for Bayyinah Institute. He founded Qutoof Academy for advanced Arabic studies.

Sheikh Aarij Anwer has completed bachelor degrees in Computer Science (Waterloo), Education (Toronto) and Fiqh (Al-Madinah International University). He currently resides in London ON with his wife and 4 daughters.
