Artists and Emotions

Becoming an Actor Later in Life, The Holdovers and the Importance of Being Creative While Your Young - Liz Bishop

Listen Later

This week I could not be more excited to introduce you to our next guest. @bizlishop is an actor of many talents, from commercial and print, to voiceover, to on screen work and most recently her appearance in the Oscar Nominated film @theholdoversfilm Liz has basically done it all.

In this very special episode we break down our thoughts on supportive vs unsupportive parents (As seen in the clip above). How Liz personally was affected by the most recent WGA and SAG strikes from the past year. What it was like for us to work together on my short film Broken Petals and also what it was like working with Alexander Payne as a director.

Did you know that Liz took a 40-year break before deciding to pursue the arts permanently? Well then you will want to listen in.

Believe me when I say that as an actor and colleague of Liz this is probably the most excited I have been to release an episode of the Artists and Emotions Podcast.
