BECOMING – PHILIPPIANS 4:8-9

Our Focus this morning:

A. Excellent – live a life of excellence, not mediocrity

B. Praiseworthy – live a life full of praise and a life deserving of praise, because you are living through the power of God in your life!

C. Put into practice what you have learned or seen in Paul’s example and the God of Peace will be with you!

The Heart:

1. Whatever is excellent – think on things that are excellent!

2. Whatever is Praiseworthy – think on things that are praiseworthy!

3. Put into practice what you have learned and seen!

4. Then the God of Peace will be with you!

The Application:

1. Be intentional about what to think about and what you allow in your thoughts.

2. Let excellence be the measuring stick of what you do for God.

3. Intentionally think about and do things that bring praise to God.

4. Trust in God’s promise and let the God of peace be with you.
