Becoming More Proactive with Change is a candid conversation about leadership, growth, and how change really works inside a growing business. In this episode of Adam Torres: Inside My Mind, Adam shares how his relationship with change has evolved from reactive to intentional.
Change is one of those things everyone talks about, but very few people slow down long enough to understand. Sometimes change is forced. Sometimes it’s chosen. And sometimes it happens quietly, without us even realizing it.
In this episode, I walk through how change has shown up in my own journey building Mission Matters, especially as the company grew and more people, projects, and responsibilities became part of the equation. Early on, change was fluid and often reactive. As the organization matured, I had to learn that leading change responsibly means respecting the people, systems, and culture that make the work possible.
I also talk about why becoming more proactive with change matters, not just in business, but in leadership and life. When change is anchored to a clear mission and values, it can become a catalyst instead of a disruption.
This is not a playbook. It’s an honest look at what change has taught me so far, and how I’m still learning along the way.
🎙️ Adam Torres: Inside My Mind is a monologue-style podcast where I step outside the host role and share the thoughts, lessons, and questions I don’t usually voice publicly.
If this resonates, I’d appreciate you subscribing and sharing the episode with someone navigating change in their own work or leadership journey.
