when you feel hard, please rememberthat even stone can move:becoming fluidwith enough pressure, with enough heat,with enough friction,and with enough time.

rememberthat jagged rocks soften in the current,and even polished gems can become sharpwhen struck just right.

rememberthat even mountains move,that water trickles and flows through their mineral veinscreating cavities and caverns,forming stony fingers that reach for one another,straining for connection in the still and silent dark.

and please remember that the most beautiful gems are formed away from watching eyes,deep inside the Earth's guarded heart.

when you feel hard, rememberthat stone is not as solid as it seems.
