Things mostly went to script for Mississippi State in the first day of the MLB draft. Will Bednar went #14 to San Francisco. Signee Maddux Bruns went later in the first to the LA Dodgers.

Both are expected to sign, but neither are a surprise. Today will be the defining day in the draft, so expect several names related to Mississippi State to be called.
