We had every intention of reading 2 Kings chapter 18 tonight. But we'll save that for the next episode. Tonight we got into a discussion about our identity as sons and how that is different from our identity as slaves or even servants. We remember that we fight the battles described in the books of the kings from a position that they (besides maybe David) knew nothing of - the position of victory as beloved sons.
