Daniel offers a blueprint of prayer in this chapter, and God reminds us (through an angel) how a loving Father responds to his children. Daniel gives glory recognizing how great his Father is. He humbles himself, admitting that he is lost in his transgressions without the mercy of the Father. Finally, Daniel appeals to his Father's mercy and apologizes.
